Versatile High Energy DJ from Saint Paul, Minnesota to Global Platforms

Marquan Harper, known as MH, is a DJ and electronic music producer from Saint Paul, Minnesota. He started in a middle school band, then drifted toward electronic music after hearing EDM while gaming and tracking down the artists behind those records. Progressive House became his lane early, with melodic leads, tight builds, and clean drops.

In 2020, Harper began releasing music under the name MH and learned production through YouTube tutorials and hands-on collaboration. His first release, “Rebirth,” was made with support from his friend Nikolaev and set the tone for his approach, classic house influence with a modern edge. The record moved quickly across streaming, then opened a larger door through gaming.

Four of Harper’s tracks were featured in Robeats, the award-winning Roblox rhythm game, with the game later winning Best Audio Design at the Roblox Innovation Awards 2022. Those placements put his music inside an interactive format heard by roughly 100,000 players worldwide. Harper has continued building his catalog through international collaborations with artists across South Africa, Sydney, China, India, the Netherlands, and more, keeping releases active on platforms like Spotify and Apple Music.

In 2023, Harper launched his radio show, MH IN THE MIX, built to spotlight both mainstream and underground electronic music. Episodes have featured Billboard-charting records, support from Grammy-nominated and multi-platinum artists, and breakthrough tracks gaining traction on 1001Tracklists and Beatport. The show has been featured online and on Minnesota airwaves via WFNU-LP.

Harper’s live work started early. He launched a mobile DJ business at 16 and has performed at festivals, bars, and nightclubs, as well as private events and weddings, including large public crowds like the Minnesota State Fair. He is also part of the roster of Generation Now Entertainment, an entertainment group connected to major Minnesota sports and event production, including the Minnesota Timberwolves and Lynx, plus game-day environments tied to the Minnesota Twins and Minnesota United.
